'travel, 3/4, small size' guitar with carbon fiber back,

top and neck. You could literally do all the things we

caution against for wooden guitars like leaving this

guitar outside in your car all night in 20 to 90 degree weather

and play it on the gig anytime without a hitch.

Two Small and One Big

Parents with young guitarists this is a rare opportunity for a bargain 1/4 and 3/4 size used acoustic nylon string at a bargain price. Both guitars have sold cedar tops and are in solid playable condition if your child is advancing to the next size up.

We can't say enough about how big sounding these Yamaha FG800 series guitars are! Ever since their tops were re-voiced for this new iteration of the series they've become contenders for budget acoustics that sound like their $1,000 and up 'competition'. This was in fact the case just a couple of years ago when a customer came in determined to purchase a Martin until the FG-830 stole the show and went home with him-they're that good!

Vintage Pair

Yet another vintage Guild D-25 in an attractive sunburst finish, ca.early 90's along with a lovely (and light playing) Yamaha FG-312 (12-string) from the late '70's-early 80's. Nice used guitars for any budget available right now.

Rare 1937 Martin 000-18 & 1918 Gibson A-model mandolin

 We hesitate to say 'once in a lifetime' about the '37 000-18 that just came in the shop last week on consignment but it's highly unlikely you'll see another one on our hooks again. Extensive repairs have been done in its past by Martin Guitars and an authorized technician. The instrument is stable and plays fine with a new set of .11's installed. The price reflects the condition and is fairly reasonable considering how lofty these guitars can get.

The 1918 Gibson A-model is a player's mando with full, commanding tone. Condition is a little rough with a flatter than usual top but repairs were done to fortify the instrument sometime in its past. Another good reason to play a vintage instrument for its tone and vibe, not its price tag.
